It is not you, it is me!

Dear Perth and Western Australia

I am just going to say it: I am leaving you! It is time for me to hit the road again. I had a really lovely time with you. Snorkeling with manta rays in Coral Bay, snorkeling with whale sharks in Exmouth althoug I was really sick, sandboarding, working at Kenwyn Horse Park in Capel, Christmas and New Year, Australia Day in Fremantle,Chinese New Year, eating on Friday evening at the Twilight Hawkers Market,  .... all good memories. 

You gave me time with a baby-blue eyes handsome guy that I really like. You gave me a couple of friends that I will cherish for the rest of my life. You gave me a funny Swedish housemate and her two cute cats. 

So by the looks of it, everything was fine, but it was not. Because I did not find a job that I really wanted. Ok, it might be that I had always another excuse. At first I blamed it on the uncertainty of my visa, then that it was a working holiday visa, ....I started to doubt myself, I must do something wrong. Yes I was! I did not want to make a decision, I did not believe myself that I would find a job here, that someone would hire me on a temporary basis. So it is not you, it is me. 

I am sad leaving you because of all the good things, but it is time for me to go. I have made up my mind. There is nothing else that can change it now. I might not be leaving for ever, but it will be for now.
